APNAC Tanzania and TI-Tanzania signed an MOU in July 2004 , under which the latter became the official Secretariat of the former, resulting in a stronger, more knowledge-based APNAC chapter.
APNAC-TZ was commissioned to look into Parliament’s current Standing Orders and provided recommendations on amendments to make the institution stronger.
APNAC-Tanzania investigated corruption scandals in various government parastatals and reported findings to Parliament , e.g. sugar company, electrical plant.
Finally, the chapter has started work to encourage Tanzanian ratification of the AU Convention Against Corruption.
